Arrival Day: You'll be met by your Namaste India Tours English speaking driver at the exit of the arrivals hall and taken to your hotel. He'll get you settled in your room and agree on a meeting time for tomorrow's City Tour of Delhi. (Hotel Florence, The Delhi Pride, Sun Star Grandor similar Karol Bagh hotel: Breakfasts are included throughout your trip.)
Day 2. Full day City Tour of Delhi.
Day 3. To Jhunjhunu, district headquarters of the Shekhawati region. (about 5 hours) Khetri Mahal, Rani Sati Temple, other temples and havelis as time permits. (The Grand Haveli or Udai Vilas Palace or similar.)
Day 4. Surface to Bikaner. (about 5 hours) (Bhanwar Niwas Palace or Gaj Kesri or similar)
Day 5. City Tour of Bikaner (founded 1488). Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace and Museum, Camel Research and Breeding Farm. Afternoon side trip for the adventurous to Mata Karni Devi Temple.
Day 6. Surface to the desert city of Jaisalmer. (about 6.5 hours) Late afternoon trip to Sam sand dunes. Two hour sunset camel ride.(JaisalGarh, Nachna Haveli or Rang Mahal or similar)
Day 7. City Tour of Jaisalmer. Jaisalmer Fort, Gadi Sagar lake, Patwon ki Haveli, Nathmal ki Haveli, other elaborate havelis as time permits. Side trip to Bada Bagh oasis, site of the royal cenotaphs. Trip out to the Sam Sand Dunes for a short camel ride included.
Day 8. To Jodhpur, founded 1459. (about 5 hours) Meherangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace and Museum, the extensive gardens of Mandore, Famous wooden handicraft market. (Pal Haveli, Hotel Karni Bhawan Palace or Ratan Vilas or similar)
Day 9. Visit Ranakpur and Kumbalgarh enroute to Udaipur. (at least 8 hours including your stops) (Karohi Haveli, Lake Pichola, Kankarwa Haveli or similar)

Day 10. City Tour of Udaipur (1568). City Palace and Museum, Jagdish temple, Folk Art Museum. Sunset side trip to Monsoon Palace (road toll and entrance fees included). Suggest also a boat ride on Lake Pichola this day (price not included).
Day 11. To Pushkar. (about 4 hours) Rest and relaxation in the temples and on the ghats of the sacred lake. One of India's holiest cities, dedicated to Lord Brahma, creator of the earth. (Pushkar Bagh, Pushkar Fort, Jagat Singh Palace, Pushkar Palace or similar) Note: Fair supplement applies if you are in Pushkar during the Camel Fair.
Day 12. Surface to Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. (about 3 hours) (Shapura House, Khandela Haveli, Mahal Khandela or similar)
Day 13. City Tour of Jaipur. Elephant ride to Amber Palace. Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Albert Hall (central museum) optional evening Hindi film at Raj Mandir Cinema.
Day 14. To Sawai Madhopur. (about 4.5 hours) (Ranthambhore Bagh, Ranthambhore Regency, Ranthmbhore Vatika Resort or similar.)
Day 15. At Ranthambhor National Park for tiger spotting. We will arrange two safaris this day: am and pm. One will be by canter and one will be by jeep. Client's must provide scans of the photo page of their passports after confirmation in order for us to arrange safaris.
Day 16. Visit the abandoned city of Fatephur Sikri enroute to Agra.(about 6 hours driving time) (Utkarsh Villas, Raj Mahal, Hotel Amar or similar)
Day 17. City Tour of Agra. Taj Mahal. Agra Fort. Itimad-ud-daulah tomb. Side trip to Akbar's Mausoleum at Sikandra.
Day 18. Return to Delhi by evening. (about 4 hours)

Holiday hotel supplement is charged for Christmas Day and New Year's Eve and the Pushkar Camel Fair.
This is India. Driving times in parentheses are not guaranteed and do not include lunch, tea, photography or bathroom breaks.

Meals and entrance fees to attractions (except where noted) are not included in package price. We are happy to provide you with the most recent information we have about entrance fees, but these fees are subject to change. Entrance fees can range from a few rupees to US $10. The Taj Mahal is currently about US $20.

Need some guidance on how much to tip your driver for his 18 days of continual service? A typical tip is between Rs 700 and Rs 1000 per day, paid directly to the driver at the end of your trip.

*About US $3,000 per couple based on double occupancy using 69 rupees per USD. The exchange rate fluctuates and we use whatever exchange rate is current the day you pay us in Delhi. This is a package price. We don't discount or bargain on the prices of our services. You'll have plenty of other opportunites to bargain in India if you're in to that sort of thing.
